The tools I use for trauma work

Not every approach works for every person. That's why I draw from 14+ modalities and match them to what you actually need.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing

If traumatic memories feel stuck on repeat, EMDR helps your brain process them differently — so they lose their emotional charge and you can move forward. Curious about the signs of unresolved trauma?

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Negative thought spirals driving your anxiety or depression? CBT gives you concrete skills to identify, challenge, and change those patterns. Try one of these grounding techniques for anxiety.

CPT

Cognitive Processing Therapy

If trauma has warped how you see yourself or the world — "It was my fault," "I can't trust anyone" — CPT helps you untangle those beliefs and rebuild.

Narrative

Narrative Therapy

You are not your trauma. Narrative therapy helps you separate your identity from your experiences and rewrite your story on your terms.

Somatic

Somatic Therapy

Tension, chronic pain, feeling disconnected from your body? Trauma lives in the body. Somatic approaches help release what talk therapy alone can't reach.

SFBT

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Want to focus on where you're going, not just where you've been? SFBT builds on what's already working in your life to create practical change fast.

Compassion

Compassion Focused Therapy

If your inner critic is louder than your inner advocate, this approach helps you build genuine self-compassion — not as a platitude, but as a skill.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness-Based Approaches

When anxiety pulls you into the future or trauma keeps you in the past, mindfulness helps you find solid ground in the present moment.

Feminist

Feminist Therapy

Your struggles don't exist in a vacuum. Feminist therapy helps you understand how societal forces shape your experience — and reclaim your power.

Attachment

Attachment-Based Therapy

Struggling with trust, intimacy, or repeating relationship patterns? Attachment work helps you understand why — and build healthier connections.

Multicultural

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Your culture isn't background noise — it's central to who you are. Therapy that honors your language, values, and lived experience as a strength.

Person-Centered

Person-Centered Therapy

No lectures, no prescriptions. A warm, non-directive space where your experiences guide the conversation and you feel genuinely heard.
